Hi all

What are the best setting for outputing a equirectangular pano in order to get a good quality image in full screen, that downloads reasonably fast? I have tried a number of options 6000 x 4000, 5000 x 2500, 4000 x 2000.

Does anybody have any recomdations in the format they use in Pano2VR?

Can anybody help a frustrated newbie?

Regards

Willam

*define to cube faces

Hi-Res / Broad-Band / FullScreen - ~2000px CF (output ~3mb)
Middle-Res / Broad-Band / Dial-Up / FullScreen / SubFrame - ~1500px CF (output ~1,5mb)
Low-res / Dial-Up / SubFrame - ~1000px CF (output ~1mb)

Yes, I agree with your Hi-Res, Mid Res, Low Res values.

Cube Face [CF] controls the quality and detail of the image. If your panorama is say 2000h x 4000w then width 4000/ 4 = CF 1000 pixels. Divide your width by 4 to get Cube face value.

Adjusting the Tile Quality compression %'s controls the final file size like 1,5mb.
