I'm taking my first steps on Object2Vr and hitting a problem with going from the first to the second object.

The idee is to show a model car (DS19 Cabrio) and when you hit a button it open its doors (by showing the second swiftfile)

I added for this example 2 hotspot area's on each object (so 4 in total, re-use hotspot is checked) and 2 text boxes in the skin
I tried for URLS:
short name (no url) DS19-Cabrio-open.swf
name including website demo4.jeroeneck.nl/DS19-Cabrio-open.swf
name including complte url http://demo4.jeroeneck.nl/DS19-Cabrio-open.swf

On the current one i use short and complete url's (both not working)

I set the Flash security settings http://gardengnomesoftware.com/wiki/Fla ... y_Settings to working directory & the website url.

I have read the tutorials on Skin-editors and hotspots and of course Object2VR (again & again)

I tried, IE, Chrome and firefox (all using same flash 10,2,154,12 on Windows 7 x64), still using the demo version of Object2VR (will be licensed when solved)

The first object is on http://demo4.jeroeneck.nl/DS19-Cabrio-dicht.swf the second on http://demo4.jeroeneck.nl/DS19-Cabrio-open.swf. I'm using a html generated by object2vr as index.html

Any clue what I'm missing or doing wrong? Thanks in Advance,

Hi
Object2VR can not open a swf from a hotspot.
What you can do is either use view states to switch between the image sets.
Or publish each with its own html page and link to the html page of the other.

Personally I would use view states for this, as this is what it was made for, please see here: http://gardengnomesoftware.com/object2v ... o=showcase.

Thanks Hopki; I was thinking I lost my mind ;-)

The products look so simular (Pano2vr & Object2vr) but react so different :oops:

If people are having the same problem;

Use the states like Hopki said;
Also read http://gardengnomesoftware.com/forum/vi ... =14&t=5032 to understand the view states

Hopki; I really appreciate all the effort you are putting into giving all the answers!
