Panorama Viewing Prameters screen is blank

I create a project and save it. I can set limits and such. When I come back and reload the project, the Panorama Viewing Parameters screen does not show an image. I only get a really big white preview screen. I can see all the controls and values, just no graphic image. Rebooting does not help.

Dell m6300, Nvidia 512mb video card, 4 gig memory, lots and lots of hard drive space.

Thanks for any advice you can give.
