As Nintendo have now been good enough to make the Opera browser now available for free, I thought I would install it on my console for a look. Well on top of getting a version of Opera 9.5 it now comes with Adobe Flash Lite 3.1 which contains a full implementation of Flash 8 with certain features of Flash 9. So I fired up Pano2VR and output an example panorama in flash 8. The result, well don't expect blistering smooth scrolling of that of your desktop PC. The scrolling was jerky and using a wii controller was a bit weird, but at least it worked.

If your interested in seeing it for yourself download the browser and then visit here http://www.bilsland.co.uk/wiitest/flash8.html, or any other flash 8 encoded panorama (if your wondering the panorama was shot at the Morgan Motor's Centenary Celebrations last month, in this small marquee you can see Morgans new and old, and even one prototype).

Thats good news too on WM6.5. I've been putting off flashing the ROM in my HTC Touch HD for a while now, but that could be the reason to get on and do it.
