Hi,

I'm trying to produce a tour with 11 VR's in it, but it's just started to get complicated.

The client wants the images to load quick so I've produced each image with a small one linking to a full screen larger version. The problem I now have is I want to link all these together with hotspots and a menu. Ok this is simple but when the image is small I want to link it to another small VR, and when it is full screen I want to link it to another full screen VR. Is this possible ?

Here is an example of one of the images in the tour - http://www.peterstephens.co.uk/virtual_ ... engine.php

Hope this makes sence, tis late and I'm not thinking right :P

Cheers,

Pete

I've linked them altogether now with hotspots pointing to different webpages http://www.peterstephens.co.uk/virtual_ ... e/park.php not ideally how I want it to run, but it works. Will add better graphics and an index popup later.

I've finished the tour now, taken me some time to put together - http://www.peterstephens.co.uk/virtual_ ... e/park.php

Would be nice to hear what you think of it ???

It would be great to be able to link the full screen images together, no one has replied about this yet - any ideas ?

Hi,

that's one of a nice tour ! :D
Congrats.

I'm not a big fan of the embossed style buttons which look a little bit cheap in my opinion. On the other hand, I like a lot the retractable menu.

I've got a problem with the pirat ship visit. There's no possibility to control the movement with the mouse. The buttons works though. And the yellow dot doesn't show up in the retractable menu either...

I agree with you : too bad we can jump from a full screen to another one. But I cannot help with this, sorry... :(

Seems some deer wants to learn how to handle panoramic photo...

Hi
You can go from pano to pano in full screen!
you need to use load next pano action and point it to a swf file.
This means you only need one skin also.

Thanks for your comments. I've no problem with the Pirate Ship image myself, the yellow dot works fine too.... is odd this, has anyone else had the same problem ? Here's the link to the image - http://www.peterstephens.co.uk/virtual_ ... e_ship.php

I'm not a big fan of the buttons either, but I think these work well for this perticular tour - the client wants children to be able to use it too.

Hopki thanks for the advice, though to my knollage this wont work here :( My client wants two versions of each image, one large and one small for quick loading. Personaly I would prefer to use one image rather than two, then this wouldn't be an issue - the tour is complicated enough as it is. All the images have there own skin, different arrow and info buttons etc... I can't work out how it would be possible to still link the full screen images together, even with the skin you kindly showed me a week or so ago.

Also.... with each image having it's own page stats can be gathered on each image. I'm not sure that this can be done when just using one skin?

odd ???

My client wants the logo at the bottom of this image to rotate http://www.peterstephens.co.uk/virtual_ ... _train.php managed to do that fine, but does anyone know how to make it larger when you click full screen ? (I thinking maybe the skin Hopki showed me might work here)

Perhaps you can add a "scale element " command for the specific hotspot element to your fullscreen button.
Have to try this but think it should work.
