Hello,

I'm batch creating object panoramas using the -x command-line argument and I would like to add hotspots to the generated movies. Does anyone know the relationship between the hotspot node in the .o2vr file, the name of the hotspot image file, and the contents of the image? Does anyone have experience creating panoramas outside the object2vr program by manipulating the .o2vr file?

Thanks,
Edward

The hotspot files are "inspired" by the QuickTimeVR format so the numbers correspond to the Apple color palette (remember the times where screens had 256 colors?). If you use Photoshop you can choose the mode "Indexed" and then you can select the Mac palette. The colors are defined as
0=255,255,255
1=255,255,204
2=255,255,153
...
Just paint the hotspot areas in these colors and you create a hotspot with that number.
MfG, Thomas
