Greetings -- I need to edit existing Javascript hotspot calls in a set of QuickTime panos, following Apple's recommendations at:

http://developer.apple.com/documentatio ... -CH001-SW4

A sample pano is attached and at:

http://aldercreek.org/images/tour/pano/pano/0.mov

As you can tell, it has what I believe is called a "sprite" track at the bottom, added so the user knows where s/he is.

To see the functionality I need of the pano, start with

http://www.aldercreek.org/tour/virtualTour/index.html

Here are the problems I am finding with Pano2VR, most recent version:
  • -When I open, edit, and save the existing QTVR pano, the sprite track disappears
-When I click on Modify Hotspots, no existing hotspots appear, and they seem to disappear when I save it.
-When I add a new hotspot, a huge number of existing hotspots are apparently defined (the window says e.g. "237 Hotspots defined"); not sure if this is a problem
Again, all I really want to do is edit the JS calls in existing hotspots with the Iframe workaround Apple specifies.

Thank you very much for your help.

Regards,

Jim P.

As another thought on my original posting: I don't know Flash, but if I defined hotspots with Javascript calls and exported as Flash, would the Javascript calls be supported in Flash as opposed to QuickTime? This may be a possible workaround.

Thanks,

Jim
