Hi

I am new to the software and to flash. Sorry if my questions are a bit basic.

I am attempting to build a tour for CD that has 7 panoramas quite a few hotspots and a Map with Radar.

I have made a skin with the map, For a tour do you use one skin with all the information (hotspots etc within it).

Using a radar is it best to move the Radar Element as you move from pano to pano or have each pano assigned a Radar and have it appear disappear.

Any tips on the best order in which to go about building a tour would also greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance for any assistance.

Generally, you can use one skin for the whole tour...along with that radar. Using actions you can direct the radar to it's correct position for each panorama.

Have you seen this example (you can download the source files): http://gardengnomesoftware.com/samples/ ... flashtour/

There are also numerous threads about this topic. Here's one for instance: http://gardengnomesoftware.com/forum/vi ... skin#p8018

(Just search for +radar +skin)

Good luck!!

In the sample a button is added to the menu that shows/hides the hotspots.
Probably very easy to add but I could not find now. Please tell me how?

Thanks,

Ron

Hi Ron

You would need a button with a MouseClick action to either:

Toggle Visibility, an on/off action, or Toggle Element Alpha, as used in the sample. Set the variable to 0.

If you have lots of different Hotspot Templates in the skin then you will need to add an action for them all in the same button.

If you only have the one, then you will need to put a % in front of the Target:

Target: %hotspot

Other wise the button will only toggle one of the hotspots.

All the best
Hopki :)
