Hi to all,

I'm facing a problem making text bold in the User Description field or tab of a flat image.
When I select say 3 words to put in bold, the editor does it but when I look at the result, in runtime, the 3 words are surrounded by two stars like this: **.

Example: “This text doesn't have just three words but many more.” becomes:
“This text doesn't have **just three words** but many more.”
Nothing is in bold, why !?!

It should be: “This text doesn't have just three words but many more.”

I don't really understand how to handle this in CSS...

If you have any idea of the problem, thank you in advance for your help.

Kind regards, Jean-Paul.

Hi Jean-Paul,
That does not sound right.
Can you create a skin and add a text box that shows the issue?
THen post it here so we can take a look.

Hi Hopki,

It is not in the skin editor but in the stage one.
Here are some screen shoot...
In this tab, no problem. The text is bold. I use the user description to give to the hotspot the text to show.

Hi Jean-Paul,
Looking at your second screenshot select "Markdown", (réduction).
The Description text field should also darken showing it is using Markdown.

What should happen is when you open the Description text editor, and then select the visual editor.
Type in your text and then change to Bold where needed.
When done select OK, the user data should look similar to the screenshot.

If not open teh text editor again and select the Markdown checkbox.

Hi Hopki,

Thank you very much !!!

Now it's correct, but still, I don't understand the logic of this dialog box with these tabs and check marks...

It seems complicated to write and format just few words ;-)
But now it is not anymore!

Anyway, your help is precious, so have a good day,
Regards,
Jean-Paul.
