aria-hide panos? & DOM order

Hello,
Is there any way to set the panos themselves to aria-hidden? I've been testing with a screen reader and it keeps reading the panorama as the first element; I want to hide the image from the screen reader completely, the same way I can with a skin element. Is that possible?
Also, it seems that hotspots come before skin elements in the DOM, meaning that a screen reader will always read all hotspots before text elements (including headings). Is there any way to adjust the DOM order so that skin elements come first?
Thanks in advance
