How to init variables when a new node open ?

Hi to all,

I'm sure pn2vr can do this but I don't find how it is possible.

Look : When I enter a new node, I want this node to update some variables, state of button, help and so on.

But how can I do that, that is the question ?!?

Any idea would be much appreciated.

You can use Actions with Action Source: Node Changed

I found what you're talking about but I look for the right place where to put this script and I don't find it.

I'm simply using an empty container in the root of the skin, called 'Initialize' for actions with sources like ConfigLoaded, NodeChanges, TilesReady etc.
Just name it something so you can easily find it again.

I understand what you mean but I wonder how you call the functions inside this container ?

I look deeper with it and I'll come back if I find the solution.

BTW, if a tutorial about that exist, I'll be glad of it

With your idea, it works well now, thanks a lot.

I made a container like you said and give it the action When images are ready then update variables according to different criteria in the logic bloc.

Without this forum I wouldn't have solved my problem I guess...
