how to send a status ?

Hi to all,

I want a rectangle to send a mouseOver on a svg icon when the mouse is over this rectangle which is the parent on this icon.

I also would like the rectangle to "say" to this icon to show its clicked state, just to see if it's possible.
I guess that it is something like passing an argument in a function, but pn2vr is it abble to do that ?
