Hello All,

I am new to the Pano2VR platform so apologies if this is a simple question. I was wondering if there is any way to automatically import panoramas with the correct compass direction specified. I am using a gopro Max so it should collect gps and compass data, I have had no issues with the location importing correctly but the compass direction on photos seems to be randomly assigned requiring me to manually adjust on all panoramas.

Thank you in advance for any help!

I only take 360's with a drone for now but when I line myself exactly with North when I start the panos they come in oriented with north in Pano2VR. So if you start your pano pointing North, that way work for you.

Hi,
Pano2VR reads in any heading data your panoramas may have, for example, the Ricoh Theta Z1 has a built-in compass.
If the camera is pointing north when you take the 360 panoramas then when you import them this will be set correctly.
If not then it's the N key to manually set it per pano.
