Dear all,

Two years ago I built a project using Pano2VR.
Now, I need to built further on the project. However due to a crash I lost both the project file and the skin.
I still have the package. Is there an way to recover the skin from the package - or do I need to built it from scratch?

Thank you for your advice!

Hi Pieter-Jan,
The go-to answer would be no as the output represents the sum of the project but not the information about the project.
Its a bit like a calculator, someone gives you the answer 42, but you have no idea what buttons were pressed to get to the answer.

However, if you have the skin.js and pano.xml files you can open them up in a text editor and see certain information.
The XML file will give you project User Data information such as titles etc.
The skin will describe elements, and their ID and sizes.
This will be very time consuming.

Hi Hopki,

Thanks for your answer, just I expected :-)
It was worth asking it anyway.

Kind regards,
