Creating active buttons on feather box map

Hi there!
ich would like to add some buttons to toggle levels directly on the map in the feather box skin. Should be pretty easy but the problem is, that I can only see the map in the tour map window, but not in the skin editor. How can I make the map visable in the skin editor, so I can add buttons there? Its important to have the buttons on the map and nowhere else.
