How to trigger with controller buttons in VR?

Hi,
It's great to have the VR skins, but i can't find much explanation about it, for instance, the menu (in venis_vr) can be triggered with the controller, but what's making it trigger? i don't see any action for appear/disappear.. any way to assign something to other controller buttons?
Hope the VR fog can be cleared a bit
