Hi Hopki.
Is there a way to control apngs similar to what pano2VR7 is capable of doing for lottie animation?
for ex. play once at hover or play forward on mouse over and then backwards on mouse leave?

Sorry no, that are like GIFs.
Lottie's are very different and why there is some control.
That said you can have two APNGs, and swap them.
