Object2VR - initialize textbox with a dom variable

Hi Hopki,
I understand that Pano2VR has variables which can be set by using Pano.setVariableValue Javascript api.
Is there a similar way available in Object2VR?
Basically I want to implement a javascript method in normal.ggt(Hopefully I can do it!), which will initialize a javascript variable. I want to read this variable and put that in a text box or a custom dialog box. How can I do this in Object2VR?
