Video VR inital starting

Greetings all
I have built quite a comprehensive VR project for a client in the Maldives, with many many VR videos all linked via Hotspots. My question is the loading and playing of the videos - in 8k some are 500mb-1gb in size. with the Auto play setting "Play on load" selected, and with hosting on client server, the video seems to have to load in its entirety before playing. Is there any way of having it buffer and start immediately? I have tried deselecting the Play on Load, but it fails to achieve it.
