direct node access is lost when unzipping manually

Hi,
I'm unzipping my ggpkg on the server (transferred with FTP) as if it were a zip file, which works fine, only direct node access doesn't work that way anymore in the project. i always have to manually re-upload the files in the base folder and then it's fine again. A bit cumbersome and easy to forget. Why does the direct access get lost?
Hope it can be solved in a future update.
