Hi,

I have issues with cardboard version of my videos 360 tours.
I'm working with monoscopics videos but boths images are frozen or they are out of sync.
I have tried .m4v and .mp4 formats, in chrome, brave and safari browsers on iOS.

If anyone has a solution...

Thanks a lot

Alexandre

Hi Alexandre,
The Cardboard template does not support video.
Or are you using the WebVR output?

I try both. But ok, I give upthe cardboard version.

I have an old project with WebVR and just 1/5 video (same .m4v format) are running well : the first one in the output video folder (not the first of the tour).
Is this a good lead ?

Thanks Hopki

Hi, I am really sorry I don't understand.
Are you saying 1 out of 5 works?

Hi Hopki,

Yes, I have a tour with 5 videos (same format, same compression).
Only one of them works normally in WebVR (the others are frozen) and I don't understand why.
This is not the first video of the tour but the first in the output video folder.
That's the only difference I see. Strange...

Hi,
If they are all in the same node then that will be the issue.
s an example iOS officially only allows one video element playing at a time.
I have managed to get two working but this is very unreliable and Apple state only one.

Hi,

I found the solution. You have to edit the pano.xml and set the startmutedmobile variable to 1 for each video.
I still have a display problem when I switch to WebXR with the first video that does not launch. Once we change node, everything works normally.
And of course, you have to make sure that the server is in https for the gyroscope to work properly.

Thanks again hopki
