Garden Gnome

This is a very old rubber toy that I played with as a child. The rubber compound has become hard over the many years and the garden gnome can no longer be squeezed to emit a whistling sound.
The object film consists of 452 frames exported from a 4K video of the Osmo Pocket.
I cropped the frames with a Photoshop action and lightened the white background as much as possible to make the shadows invisible.

I would still like to see the following feature enhancements in Object2VR:
  • Object can also be rotated when the mouse pointer is outside the image.
  • Right-left arrow buttons should allow the object to rotate continuously while the mouse button is held down.
  • The rotating movement with the mouse pointer should continue for a little longer when the mouse button is released and then slowly come to a standstill. This looks much more natural.
  • Rotation should also be possible in the zoomed image.

Hi Harald,
The project has far too many frames and why it rotates so slowly, I normally use 72 which is 5 degrees rotation per image.
Object can also be rotated when the mouse pointer is outside the image.

Not sure about this one, do you mean you click in the object but then as you mouse out of the object it should still have focus?

Right-left arrow buttons should allow the object to rotate continuously while the mouse button is held down.

You can do this now, just replace the Source Mouse Click with Pressed.

The rotating movement with the mouse pointer should continue for a little longer when the mouse button is released and then slowly come to a standstill. This looks much more natural.

Object2VR does have inertia but with that many rows, you probably don't see it.

Rotation should also be possible in the zoomed image.

The mouse can either drag the object around when zoomed in or used to rotate the object.
By default when zoomed out you can rotate and when zoomed in it will drag the image.
You can disable this in the project settings or use a button to change the view mode.
Regards,

Hi Hopki,

thank you for your useful hints! :D

This version (only 113 images) is much better:

Responsive design by checkmark "Fullscreen". Thank you, Hopki!
