Call for Tours!

Hi everyone,
In light of the current situation with Covid 19 we are looking to showcase tours built with Pano2VR showing places of interest such as museums, parks, and tourist destinations, anywhere you think others would like to be transported too.

We thought this would be nice if you have to self isolate and need a break from working at home or if you have run out of things to do.
We are looking for good quality with great visuals, this will also be a good opportunity to show off your tour building skills.
Please send all links to support@ggnome.com

Well... It's a bit late for St. Patrick's Day, but I put this up on my social media yesterday, featuring the purported grave of the saint:

This one is interesting, as it's from Sienna, Italy, and shot last month entirely w/my iPhone and a monopod:

Hope all is well w/you, Hopki.

I'm back in the USA now, as my University cancelled the program in Italy where I was teaching. Four more days in quarantine here, then who knows how long in "social isolation," as I belong to the disposable generation when they run out of ventilators.

This is a project I'm working on for Fort Worth Texas. It's a personal pet project that I'm adding to:

I am with the lockdown, today the 17th day and as I am without outdoor work, I am beside regular work (finishing recent projects), recompiling older projects, here it is the list with the warious projects from the newest recompiled on the top to the older ones down: https://www.burger.si/Novosti/Seznam.html (I suppose I have for over a year of "stamina" for a #projektnadan (projectaday) : https://www.burger.si/Novosti/Seznam.html
Stay home, stay safe and a good luck!

This might be interesting... the situation is actually great for documenting as there are not people around to slow us down.
I am working a project a day (#projektnadan) and luckly I have enough "gear power" - 8 x i9 graphic stations which almost automatically work for me.
I am publishing virtual excursions with a one week delay after the photosampling the location: example of " a project a day mission" from today: https://www.burger.si/Mozirje/MozirskiGaj/gremo.html or a museum exhibition https://www.burger.si/MuzejiInGalerije/ ... gremo.html with implemented 52 ~gigapixel high detailed macro photos of textiles. ... I am acctualy with 3-4 huge museum exhibipons a week.
So "the time" is the opportunity to be creative.
Good luck and keep working!

Lots of places in Cornwall - particularly medieval churches and neolithic monuments:

We created this tour a while ago in our office. There are a few things that I would improve if I was to recreate the tour, but we are pretty happy with the outcome:

Excellent. Must have been a challenge to have the very same view point for ALL the panoramas.

I think I would have started with 1930 vintage panorama and then tried to duplicate that location with today and future panorams

I put together a collection of nice locations from my google Streetview profile.

Any pointers and ideas on how to improve would be very much appreciated, likewise, if anybody has any issues with things not working, etc id like to hear about it.

Sorry about the terrible resolution of the Panos. If I get even more bored of the lockdown I may dig out the full-res versions and replace them.

Enjoy!

TButtrick,
Some great panoramas there. I like your minimal skin interface too! Nice work.
