Hi, i cannot understand hot to activate several actions, such as go to url xxxxxxx when mouse click onto a button or image when using the skin cardboard.ggsk and the HTML template cardboard.ggt
The center black cross seems to have response only from the preset targets, but i cannot figure out how to make it work with any other button i create and introduce into a skin.
Thanks

This only works with the hotspot template. You could use 3D distortion and then use a mouse click do something.
When you stair at the hotspot it will be activated.

Thanks Hopki, i've tried but it seems to me that only one hotspot can be active in a single skin, which is the one on top in the tree. The other one (the one i would like to be always present in the same position of the screen to exit or to go to a specific URL) just does not appear at all in the output.
Looking forward to more tutorial or How to's as well

Hi Hopki, could you please spend some more words than
It seems to me that inside a skin only a single hotspot can be active, if i place 2 or more the other ones just disappear.
Basically, i need to place a button in each node to exit the tour and go to the general menu, and this button should preferably be found in the same place in each node, or maybe at the very bottom, so that can hide the tripod.
Of course, just like any other hotspot of the tour, it must be activated via the center cross.
Thanks

Hi CBaroncini,
The cardboard template and skin were not meant for anything more than just activation hotspots to change location.
However how it works is the stare activates a point hotspot template which has a mouse click action.
In the case of the stare skin, it has a mouse click, go to url, url: $hu/$ht.
So if you had a hotspot that opened a popup then also set a time to a timer to hide it after a few seconds then that may work.
But where it would probably go all wrong is you would state at the hotspot and then it opens the popup, but then unless you moved your head it would always try and keep it open.
Remembering this is Pano2VRs first outing in to VR with lots more development to come.
This is why the template and skin are called cardboard, because this is all it was meant for.
Regards,
Hopki

Hi all,
Just a query on this, the hotspot in the stare template has hotspot text etc built into the skin, but the mouse enter/leave element doesn't work.
If I change this to 'mouse click' it shows the hotspot text, but only on the left hand side of the VR. This also doesn't allow for moving the centre crosshair into it and it showing the hotspot text, then it disappearing when moving the crosshair out. Any ideas?
Cheers.

Hi Ollie,
As said the cardboard template and skin has limited function which we will be looking at later on.
So for now only use point hotspots with no text.

Hopki

Curious if we are closer to more cardboard/headset functionality?
Can you give us an update?
Can you give us an update?
Greetings all,
the cardboard skin has worked perfectly for ages and is wonderful ... however the latest update has killed it.
Would appreciate knowing why? Thanks, Glenn
http://www.creaitken.com/Raffles/RafflesVRTourCDBD.html - just published with new Pano2VR version - hotspot crosshairs not working and no longer split screen
http://www.creaitken.com/Amilla/VR/2017 ... D2017.html - previousl Pano2VR version, with hotspots working perfect and splitscreen for headsets.
Both published using same settings and cardboard.ggsk
Thanks for the help, Glenn

Appears that the code in both panorama pages are quite different. The non-split screen .html page appears to be created as a single panorama... not cardboard.
Suggest you might revisit the .P2vr for non-split screen project file.

Hello everyone!
I would appreciate if you could have a look at: https://s3.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com/p ... -2/vr.html
I have two issues:
- The soundss are loading too slowly
- Viewing hotspots with carboard is obviously a NoGo, so I need to deactivate them somehow from the VR out, but not from the whole project
If anyone has got some ideas on how to address the problems above, i would be extremely thankful!

Hi,
If you have a tour with say image popup and also want a cardboard output you need to add to add to the cardboard skin a hotspot template, ht_image but not add any hotspot image.
This will prevent the wrong hotspot showing but as the template has no image you will not see anything.
As for the sound Im not hearing any sound at all?

Many thanks Hopki,
The issue with the hotspot images is now resolved thanks to your tips.
I figured that the sounds aren't loading when using aiming with crosshair. They do however load when the screen is touched or clicked!
Again I would very grateful for your advise! Attached pls see the skin I'm using.
