V5 thumbnail scroll inertia?

LOVE everything about v5.

Looking forward to direct node access. Any idea of an eta on that?

Also, it seems as there is a bit of inertia while scrolling thumbnails in the desktop version but nothing in iOS. I think it would feel much more natural if the thumbnails continued to move just a bit after you scrolled them to fit with the rest of the mobile user experience. Is that something that can be adjusted somewhere? Or perhaps a feature that will be added later?
