Hi Thomas and all,
I've recently created spherical panoramas with version 2.2.3 and I've noticed strange behavior when using the scroll mouse to zoom in and out. A part of the image is moving like if it was animated. It happens on different area of the pano (maybe angles ?)
Here are some panos where the effect is easely noticeable :

Turn about 100° left and you'll see young boy down with blue jersey and blue "Astana" cap and you can see his arm moves when scrolling. Even the lady with light blue shirt behind looks like she's dancing...
Another realistic animated one :

In the middle of the back wheel the derailleur (gear change mechanism) is in action !
(BTW, Stijn Devolder is the cycling Belgium champion)
Is it a bug or I missed something ?
Cheers,
G.

Good point, older video card increase the effect. Mine is Radeon 9250 128Mb.
But the effect happens not while panning but when zooming in and out, with sroll mouse button it's very obvious with me.
I made this test panorama with 2544px cube size :

It happens at every cube angles, at least on my computer.
(win XP, FF 3.0.11, IE8 and Ububtu 8.04, FF 3.0.11)

I have this effect, too:
A kind of acute or plane angle and corners when zooming in or out.

Yes, that is the issue - video card screen redraws. Its occuring on all cube face joins.
Its more obvious on some corners than others depending if the colors are contrasting or complimentary.
I am using a Dell 420 Intel Core 2 Quad CPU 2.4ghz system with Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT 512mb video ram driving dual 25" Samsung 1920 x 1200 Monitors.
I think that using a small 570 x 320 pixel window for Flash .swf or QTVR .mov the screen redraw issue will not be seen. Its more obvious on larger monitors.
