Dear all,

How do you set your focus for virtual object? Activate the autofocus at every shot or turn off autofocus after getting the focus point?

Thank you in advance

As everything in life the answer is "it depends"...
Do you want or need everything in focus? maybe yes, maybe not.
There are lots of variables and effects that can be achieved using Object movie.

If you want everything in sharp focus then..
Your best practice is to look at (spin) your object viewing it thru the camera and check you depth of focus.
(using your depth of focus preview or just shoot some captures and look at the focus on the monitor). Adjust f-stop as needed to determine what you need to get everything in focus as the position of the object moves. Turn off your auto focus and manual focus to get the focus you want. Auto focus can be hit and miss; it may focus to far forward or back and you will miss keeping your subject in the center of your field of focus.
Hope this helps.
