Is there a way to create 'blob' hotspots in Pano2QTVR ?

I want to call a JavaScript function in my HTML file using the hotspot

I can only see URL and QuickTime movie as settings.

Thanks in advance

Hi Loic, Welcome to the forum

You can create hotzone overlays rectangle, circle and irregular shaped "Blob" on the panorama. This then will make that shape a clickable zone that is linked to the next panorama.

Only issue is that when viewing the panorama.. you won't see any definable area on which to click until you mouse over it.. then the cursor changes from an arrow to another shape cursor. What you might consider is applying a marker to your panoramas like a small icon shape. Then in Pano2qtvr.. assign a hot zone clickable link.

Just a thought this morning.

Hi Dave

By blob I was referring to the old QTVRAS software terminology.
I meant a hotspot that is neither a URL, nor a link to another panorama.

Since my post I have found the solution... simply choose URL but don't enter a value in it. The hotspot can then trigger a JavaScript call (or a URL, or a link to another panorama... ).

This is the most flexible way to create hotspots IMHO, since you can choose the type of action once in the HTML.

Thanks for your help
