Hello. I would like to display photos using the Web Element and the embed code Flickr provides (see below)
<a data-flickr-embed="true" data-context="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/uas-rec/5 ... 813251075/" title="Aurora Climb Night"><img src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/547 ... 7cc3_c.jpg" width="800" height="600" alt="Aurora Climb Night"/></a><script async src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
When published it only shows the first photo of the album and does not either proceed showing more photos or provide any type of navigation, so an image only. When I use the embed code outside of Pano2VR it displays the first photo along with navigation buttons for viewing more photos. If not Flickr, is there another similar solution?
Has anyone gotten this simple way to display photos working? Would be simple to update the photos fore the user and provide some dynamic interest to the tour.
Thanks for any help one can provide.
Possible to show Flickr album in Pano2VR
Hi!
This question piqued my interest. And what I learned, is that because flickr isn’t using a typical iframe tag, the album can’t really be “embedded” like we would a YouTube video for instance.
So, what you’ll need to do is add the flickr code as a separate HTML file. And then add that to the output folder and put that URL in an iframe in the Web Element.
With this method, I got it working. But what I couldn’t get working was getting the album to fit within the web element. It would get cut off, but maybe there are others here who can help with that part. I hope that helps to get you a little further!

I'll give that a try, thanks for the suggestion. Let me know if you hear any other ideas on formatting/styling within the iframe. Flickr gives you some options on header/footer but seems to draw in several elements I was hoping to leave out so as to keep it simple and just have the photos show up, overlaid on a display in the pano that could be easily updated using Flickr. Thanks again.
That seemed to be the trick. Fits pretty well inside the pop-out with room for Flickr navigation of photos. I would rather it went through the photos w/out interaction but this will work for now. Node posted at: https://uas.alaska.edu/juneau/rec/tour/#servicedesk. The Pano didn't stitch to well and will need to reshoot when the lighting is better. Thanks again for the suggestion!
