Hi all
I have been playing with some menus for the skin editor, by request

I am posting 3:

The first is a Slide Down on mouse over, it has three menu tabs, and returns to the close state on mouse leave.

The second is is the Side to Side menu with a fade effect.

The third a on click Drop Down with highlight and tool tips.

All have been tested with Flash player 9 & 10.
The above three can use each others elements, so the Side Down menu could work with a mouse click rather than a mouse over.
Hope it helps, its just easer to post them rather trying to explain how they work.
However, now you have the basic code, you should be able to reverse engineer them and build your own.

Have fun. :D

Hi Thomas
I can’t remember, but I think I asked if it would be possible to make the rectangle tool into a button object as well as an image.
Also any chance of an Oval tool? Again image and button object settings.

The Skin Editor is turning out to be a real serious bit of kit, fantastic. :D

Kind regards

Hopki

Had a play with the Drop Down Menu,
I noticed if you clicked on menu item, Pano 1 or 2, as the menu slid up, your mouse would enter the other menu options and cause them to highlight. :? This is now fixed with an alpha trick, on an option item click, I have set the alpha of the other option highlights to 0.
Clicking the “M” button sets the alphas back to 1.

Enjoy :D

Yeah, I created a monster! I am not sure how far I want to go with the painting tools (like oval, polygons,...) but I have a neat idea for 2.3 and maybe this already solves those things. I am not sure if it will really work, so I leave with this teaser ;).

Hi Jeroen
Once you download the skin, open it up in Pano2VR and look at the actions, move object to position.

Kind regards :D
