Turn off autoplaced GPS hotspots?

I find the automatically placed GPS-derived hotspots distracting in my workflow. I always need to delete the GPS (properties>user data>capture) info to get rid of the hotspots.

Can we please have the settings option to globally turn off the GPS autoplaced hotspots?.

You can turn off Gohast Hotspots

The button toggles their visibility in the viewer.
