Hi everyone,
I’m currently testing 3D panoramas with the Apple Vision Pro, and the experience is really impressive overall. However, I’ve run into an issue: when I move my head parallel, it almost makes me feel nauseous. I definitely want to keep the rotation aspect, as it’s essential for the experience.
Does anyone know if there’s a way to reduce or eliminate these parallel head movements without affecting the rotational tracking? Perhaps there are some software settings or specific apps that could help with this? Any tips or insights would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Apple Vision Pro 3D Panoramas: Reducing Nausea from Parallel Head Movement?
Hi!
Assuming you're viewing a Pano2VR virtual tour in immersive view, you can use the pinch and drag to spin the panorama around you to help with the nausea. You can also use this gesture in the non-immersive mode.
Make sure the horizons are level as well.

Hi,
Try the examples on our product page: https://ggnome.com/pano2vr/
Do you have the same issues?
It could be your stereo image if normal panoramas are ok but have issues with stereo.

Correct. Did you already try using the pinch and spin to move the panorama to see if that helps?
As already suggested, compare with our example tours, but also check the feeling in other headsets if available to you. Do you feel nauseous only when viewing the panoramas? If other content and wearing the AVP in general is fine, then it's likely the stereo images are the problem.
Absoluly the same, I did over 250 Demos with the Vision Pro, no motion sickness, but this emercive view makes ME sick. It would be great, if only the direction would be tracked. You can see it in an extremer Way, if you move your head in parallel with still the same direction.Hopki wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2024 5:37 pm Hi,

In the first panorama in the demo, it still works relatively well, but the narrower the room, the more extreme the effect becomes.
Hope there is a solution in P2v
