Hello,
Please excuse my English, it's very basic.
I'm trying to create a tour whose nodes show hotspots of different themes; culture, sport, bus stops, pubs, restaurants, offers... , and I will also possibly place virtual tours for properties for sale, among other topics, whether they can generate income for me, or virality (at the moment I have about 17 categories).
And my problem is that placing so many hotspots will cause the aerial photos to look very information saturated, so I would like to incorporate a drop down menu on the side, so that users can choose which hotspot topics they want to see from available, by checking the icons of the options that they can choose from among all the ones created (which should be shown only when they are represented in at least one point in one of the nodes of the tour).
I clarify that hotspots generally do not have to match nodes, and thus tags cannot be used to associate hotspots with corresponding menu options... That is, a hostspot may be a link to a linked virtual tour, to a bus stop, or anything else that doesn't require a node. And in order to provide a better experience to the user, I don't want to show hotspots that are not useful to the user.
I don't know if I know how to explain myself. The navigation must be from node to node, but at each node, only the hotspots of the categories selected by the user must be displayed. These hotspots will be represented with Awesome icons, (and maybe with text...not sure).

My questions:
Does Pano2VR allow this? Does anyone know how I can do this? Do you know if there is already a menu that allows me to show and hide hotspots that I can use? A webinar?
Thank you very much for your attention.

Hi Anjo,

Please take a look at my tutorial Cloner Action "Hotspots"

https://tonyredhead.com/pano2vr-v7-beta/clonerhotspots

In this tutorial the hotspots open a video component but they could open a new node or any other action you want.

Regards,

Tony

Hi Anjo,
See the attached project, it is using a single text variable.
It has a node hotspot to change nodes and then three more with colours, RGB.
They do not do anything as this is just an example to show and hide them.
Each RGB Hotspot template has a visible logic block that states it should be visible if the variable contains its colour text, red, green or blue.
The key word here is "contains".

Each of the menu buttons, and text boxes uses a variable value which can contain any of the words, I'm using a space in between to make it clear, but you could also use a comma, red, green, blue.
It does not matter as it is looking for the word.
Regards,

Sincerely, thank you very much :)

Today I hope to finish some improvements, and to be able to start studying these alternatives.

Really, thank you very, very much :D
