Hi Thomas
Request for the skin editor, the rectangle tool, would it be possible to have the option for it to be a button as well as an image. This would make it perfect for making hotspots in floor plans etc; the mouse would change to the hand, showing interactivity to the user.
Many Thanks
Hopki

For exactly the same reason I asked for the same thing some time ago.
Then it dawned on me that for this I could just use.... a button, Doh! : )
They appear to be the exact same thing, only the button has the hand cursor as an added feature.
Here's an example,

move your cursor over the image/map on the left, and it will change into a hand when you enter the hotspots.
(select the Flash version in the combo box under the pano window if you have DevalVR installed.)

Hi Erik
I apologise in advance if this sounds dumb , but the “draw rectangle” in the skin editor.
I can not see hoe you would make it into a button object?
Kind regards
Hopki

I don't think you can convert a rectangle into a button without editing the XML, what I meant was: use a button instead.
You can do anything with a button, can't you? So why not use it in the first place?

Sorry Erik,
I thought there was a clever way of converting a rectangle into a button that I was missing.
Yes you are quite right about buttons; but it would have been nice to draw them on a floor plan in the skin editor.
Just a thought.
BTW cool work with the embedding .swf file.
Kind Regards
Hopki
