Hi all,

I wonder if anyone has this issue with Pano2VR on Windows 10. In the past months it happened several times that as soon as I try to open a project, nothing happens. I mean, in the app bar below the Pano2VR logo can be seen with the name of the project, but nothing more. Tabbing through the active Windows screens won't help. Attempts to open other projects from explorer fail, even just starting Pano2VR just gives me not even a program pane. It took a while to find out that thorough uninstalling (Revo uninstaller), cleaning with CCleaner, reinstalling Pano2VR and two OS restarts in between solved it. Thing is, it happens more often now, twice this morning. Very annoying and time consuming.

Does anybody know what happens here? Is it a P2VR bug? A Windows issue? An overactive antivirus app (Bitdefender here)?

Kind regards,

Dennis

So, Pano2VR is off-screen? Do you use different screen configurations? Could this be the issue?

Most of the time I use two screens indeed. The issue appears during a working day while the two are in use, closing and opening several projects. Then at once, no response anymore after attempting to open a project. When I once saw it happening in single-screen modus, I tested the possible correlation by connecting the extra screen. Still nothing happened.

Hi Dennis,
Can you try a clean install?
First backup any custom skins and templates and have your license key to hand.
Uninstall Pano2VR, then run the attached Reg Cleaner.
Restart your computer and then install from a fresh download from our website.
Please let us know how you get on, may be better to use e-mail.
