Dear all,

hope you had happy days for Christmas.

Santa Claus got me an oculus quest2 and tried to convert some virtual tour. The experience is amazing, but the quality of the images seen on the oculus is a little blurry respect the quality I may see through the computer.

Is there somebody who knows if there is some special settings o resolution?

Best Regards,
Domenico

Hi,
I read the Quest 2 has a resolution of 1440 x 1600px per eye.
What's the size of the equirectangular your using?

The Quest 2 has a resolution of 1832 x 1920 pixels per eye. The Quest 1 has a resolution of 1440x1600 per eye.
The Quest 2 has a FOV of around 90 degrees, so I'd recommend using an equirectangular source image of at least 8K wide, and if you're using Single Res output: a Cube Face Size of 2048.

Thank you all for kind answers, but I use at lest 10000x5000 most often 12000x6000 DSLR based images
I tried another version without multiresolution VR ready.

If you can give a look by computer and by oculus and tell me if you look the difference.
