Just watched this video and want to ad a variable like in the video: https://youtu.be/3h449wL5oJI

The video says open skin editor - check
Click on canvas - check
No screen 'components panel' to ad a variable.

how do I activate it please?

I see the dotted line on the right of the screen on the border, but when I click and try to drag it does nothing.

Any help is welcome thank you

Hi,
I don't understand, you add a variable in the skin editors properties panel.
Or am I missing something?

Thanks for tuning in!

Ok maybe I am not explaining well. I am looking for this panel seen on the RIGHT (where it says 'VARIABLES'):

How do I get it please?

OK, I see what I had to do: need to put the skin editor in full screen mode and only then could I drag the dotted line to one side and the component panel would appear

Ahhh. I get what you were saying, yes, the three dots, you can click and "close" the panel, then click and drag it back.
You can also undock them.
See the view menu.
