Hello everyone, hope you are all doing fine.

For making an animated hotspot I know the basics from Hopky's video tutorial, plus a little of my experiences.

Take a look at the .gif
See, my animation sometimes works nicely and smoothly, and sometimes it doesn't.

I use a variable, timer and the ht scale logic block. I have tried doubling the speed and more of the timer and giving it different Actions:
Activate -> variable -> true / Deactivate -> variable - false
or
Activate -> variable -> not(-)

Seems to be something about the maths, can't figuring it out...

Thanks in advance,
Julien

Hi Julien,
Seems something is getting out of sync.
I will be coving this on Wednesdays Webinar, Variables and Logic blocks.
But if you wanted can you create a skin with just your hotspot and timer?
If not here is the webinar page: https://ggnome.com/webinars/
You're looking at Variables and Logic Block Part 1.

Hi Hopki,
I haven't figured out yet this sync problem.
Thanks I will come to the next webinar :D
Note: your variable trick (to show a variable state, covered on your webinar part 1) is very very good. Great help!

Hi Hopki,
I got something, look like this sync problem comes from Firefox.
Have a look my screen flow: Firefox is in the middle and Chrome (which I almost never use) at the right.
Awaiting for feedback! :)

Thank you in advance,
Julien

Hi Julien,
Odd I am not seeing this, can you copy the timer and your images into a new skin and test, do you see the same thing?
If so please send me the skin to support with a link to this post.

Hi Hopki,

Same issue within a new skin. I've sent you an email as proposed.
Thanks

Hi Julien,
Sorry for the delay, been a bit busy.
OK, I see the issue, you should be resizing the image, not the template.
The template needs to be fixed to the panorama so changing its scale will just break it.
That should sort it out.
