VR Goggles

SO I have a VR tour and I am trying to use the VR goggles. when I do this the images doesn't look correct. I am seeing double as I look through my goggles. Now, I went to a random Youtube sight to see a video using their VR setting and it looks fine, I am not seeing double. Are there settings that can be tweaked to make this look correct?

Ok, I believe that I answered my own question. I realize that you have to create the Stereo equirectangular image first. With that said, I am photographing these images using a nodel ninja atached with a canon 5D Mark IV. My question is should I take two sets of images and offset my camera 35 mm from the center? Will this work?

3D = stereo
To create stereoscopic pictures, you use 2 camaras side-by-side.
If your objects does not move (cars, people, animals, machines, leaves in the wind, ...) you can move your camera to the second position and take the "offset" picture with the same camera.
BUT: This simple principle works best for a field of view of standard lenses.

With 360° panoramas it´s much more complex.
Generally, you can use 2 Cams side-by-side, you will get a 3D (stereo) result, but also you will get stitching errors on the near objects in your 2 panos (for left and right eye).

Also there are guidelines on the web of using one camera with a fisheye lens (as we do usually) and doing "the trick" with much more shots and a very special stiching and masking in PTGUI to get a "left and right" pano.
This is complex and it definately works only with objects that are not moving at all.

So, to answer in a shorter way:
Forget that tinkering - if you need to have a working solution for real 3D (what is "stereo") 360 pano, you better buy a professional camera like Insta360 Pro 2

Oh, sorry to not have used the full phrase - I thought it is clear what is the full sentence:
(NOT like:
...you better buy a professional camera like Insta360 Pro 2 )

BUT like:
...you better buy a professional 3D-camera (for eample a Insta360 Pro2)
