Hey,
Is it possible to create a compass similar to what you have on Google Street view?
I know I can make an object rotate on the "north" based on the landmark,
but can you use the GPS location to create an object (Say a thin rectangle) and have it rotate like a compass?

Thanks,
S.

I'n no expert in how to do that, but a starting point would be to look at https://ggnome.com/doc/placeholders-list/
You can see that $(an) is the "current pan angle with north setting applied".
From here, I'd look in the Skin editor at the feature "Node 3D Hotspot" to see how object transformations are done on screen.
I assume you'd need to delve into the scripting, but it's a bit above my current knowledge.

Hope this helps,
Wolfgang

Hi Guys,
The rotating part just needs the Modifier Pan North.
This will then point to whichever direction you have set north in the panorama.,
