We have a strange behaviour with a Pano-Tour, where we could use some help. It is integrated in a Learning Management System, where the learner enters and gets the learning content. The learning content in this case, of course, is the pano tour, complete in a folder on the server there as it should be. When the learner/user wants to take the pano tour the index.html link is provided. Also as it should be. As long as it is done this way, everything is fine. On Desktop, Android, iOS.
But... in normal operations the system uses a login check. This means the user logs into the system with Username/Password in an extra screen/ popup. And now it’s getting complicated. From then on, every time the actions of the user ask for data access for something, the system checks if the user is still logged in over the other screen. In our case, this means, that the system checks this when the tiles are loaded because this is data access in a new folder.
And as a result, if we ran the pano tour on iOS while this authentication process is activated, a black screen is generated with no tiles...On Desktop and Android everything works fine! It is only iPhone, iPad and the like. It is the same server, the same folder, same files. Without authentication everything fine, when switched on, no panos on iOS.
One of the ideas we have is that there is a clear delay through this authentication process when loading stuff and that this leads to showing the page but not loading the tiles. Strangest aspects: If we click refresh, the tiles are there!

Ideas?

Hi SMagnus,
I had to ask Thomas about this, it would be good if you could share a link to a test project to see this happing, it may give us a bit more of a clue.
But without this Thomas thinks the system is not sending the proper http error code so player thinks the tiles are fine.
