It is great that with the 6.1 version finally WebVR is supported. Unfortunately it does not work in the Chrome Browser.

My setting:
Skin: silhouette.ggsk
VR: enable
Device: Pixel3a

In the Chorme Browser it will be displayed but if you select the menu item "VR" the image will freeze.

This sounds like a Gyro problem.
Are you using a secure server?

Hello Hopki,

many thanks for the quick feedback.

Sercure Server: No, its a normal, http

Gyro: yes, we have found there is a difference between Firefox and Chrome.

If we open the pano normally, not VR, the menu selection in Firefox will show "Gyro". If it is selected, the pano reacts to the movements of the mobile phone.

With Chrome the menu selection "Gyro" is not shown!

Hi Stefan,
As your server is not https then when looking at your link with my iPhone the gyro does not work.
This is true for the top three browsers, Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
You NEED to have a secure server.
Older browsers may still work with it but as soon as you update it will stop.

Hello Hopki,

okay, its possible that you link an example on secure Website?

I also try with a local network (xampp), in Firefox works, with Chrome not.

Hi Stefan,
Here is a test: https://support.ggno.me//forum_projects/gyro.
On an iPhone, you will be asked to allow the website access to your gyroscope which is the Motion and Orientation sensors.

Hello Hopki,

your example works fine.

But if I export a panorama then it does not work with Chrome. Here are the settings of Pano2VR.

No Gyro!

Hi Stefan,
When you make an output, I assume you are using the https:// (ssl) address in the web server and not the http:// one?

Because of the Gyro issue, Thomas introduced the ssl into the webserver so you can test the gyro.
