Hi.... higher... Highend!
;-)

OK...... seriously:
I created a second, very elaborate design, which I call - in all modesty, but nevertheless - a Pano2VR master class piece*.

It is optimized for PC, Laptop, etc.. - it's not perfect for touchscreens.

EDIT:
Now the final version is online:
http://360-host.de/vr-hifi/

Take a look at the Pano.Control.panel - I designed it in the style of a CD player, or so...

Another nice gadget is included, I called it: Pano.Fader.Pro - hopefully you'll find it ;-)

*My first piece of the "Pano2VR masterclass" is an extremely elaborate virtual tour in a theatre, which contains a search and prize game.
This is almost finished and will be released in October, hopefully... ;-)

If someone is interested in a (very complex!) Pano2VR Masterclass Training - with my two elaborate VR Tours as examples for practice - is welcome to contact me from November on.

Hey Soulbrother,

hope you are still active here... just found that tour and absolutely fell in love with this one hotspot, where the pano appears on mouse over and turns around. The one with the turqoise frame and the arrow in it, on the pavement.

Is there a tutorial on how to animate the hotspot preview image to look like that? Or did you figure it out on your own? What kind of projection did you use for the Node Image and how did you make it turn around on hover. :?: Already tried around a bit with the actions, but all of them do not change something in the preview image, only on the actual pano.

Would be great if you could point me in the right direction...

Thank you in advance,
Sanny

Hi Sanny,

I had tried and there are several ways to create that style.

The hotspot-picture is a gif, and the gif shows the rotation.

I created the single frames for the gif, with the help of the animation tool in pano2vr.

The single frames where opened in photoshop and exported as gif.

To use it afterwards as hs-picture, you need to use an external loader.

Thats it...

Hi Soulbrother,

wow, thank you for your fast reply!!

Seems I've got to change all my plans for the weekend now...

I think this is a stunning effect which would be a great feature to be implemented to P2VR. Maybe in the future.
Right now this sounds like a lot of work for a tour with many nodes.

So I have to wait for a tour with less panos, then I will definately give it a go. :D

Thank you so much for taking your time to explain me!!
Really appreciate it!

Best wishes for you,
Sanny

I am happy to be able to give some tips and hints for some of the "constructions" in that skin, but...

...this design and functions of the "special CD-Player" (I named it Pano.Control.Panel )
...and of the "Multichannel Audio Mixing Console" (I named it Pano.Fader.Pro )

are created exclusively for my client and he paid for that.

Therefore, sorry, but the answer has to be: No...
...not at the moment, but let´s see, what will be after some month, because I try to get the o.k. for using this as a workshop-example...

Thanks...

That is a really good skin... Great work

Definitely I may ask further questions in the future if I want to develop something like it..

I like the small prints!

I created with 2 languages, DE and EN.

After the startup screen a switch is visible in the special "amp-designed-control-panel"
