Hi there ,
I would like to know if is normal to have much less quality in the moving objects , between Flash and Quicktime .
Because that's what I am getting.
In the Flash platform , the colours of the objects do NOT get consistent , the image is not perfect , as it is in Quicktime platform.
Am I missing something ?
thanks
Fernando

The reason is the way Flash handles bitmap antialiasing. Since the rendering quality is being set to "low" while the pano is being panned in favor of motion smoothness and performance, Flash switches antialiasing from bicubic to nearest neighbour.Fernando Costa Pinto wrote:Am I missing something ?
Quicktime is handling bitmaps way better than Flash does. No surprise considering that Flash was originally developed to process vector graphics.

...Since the rendering quality is being set to "low" ...
I tried every configurations ... high , no loss , and even so , the result is not good , except when the size is so big that uses all screen , but then , it becomes so heavy, that I get in doubt it will be practical.
The problems are bigger when there are objects with strong colours .
thanks for helping

What's the resolution of the images you're using?
[edit]
And: Did you use Pano2QTVR's option to optimize the cube faces size (Settings > Tile Settings > Cube Face Size)? The program recommends the optimal value there.

Hi, thanks for the help ...
I am using 1280 x 960 with around 215 KB.
After you mentioned ...I did used optimization , but didn't noticed much difference.
There's a huge difference between Quicktime and Flash .
The texture of tissues with strong colours , is particularly affected.

Can you post examples? Beside of aliasing both technologies should deliver the same results....
