Hi people.

I am creating a multi level tour, and have some questions i'd love help with if possible.

1/ on the Tour Map, I cannot see a way to filter out via Tags all the levels that I am not currently working on... is there a way?
2/ on the Tour Map, is there a way to rotate/resize a GROUP of panos which you shift-click-drag to marquis select?
3/ on the Tour Map, how do I delete a link (i've tried Del/backspace/RHclick/CTRL/ALT-click etc, but none work.
4/ on the Tour Map, in the Auto positioning and orientation tools button I choose Pick Place ID, so I find the business on the map and click on it, but there is no indication that this has or has not successfully been selected. Is there a way to see this is correctly assigned to that business?

Thanks very much,
Mark.

Hi Mark,
In the documents search for adding tags.
Then you need to look for at Pano2VR settings/preferences and select "Filter for map pins and ghost hotspots".
Then when you use the tour browsers filter it will hide filtered map pins from the tour map.
Again there are videos for this.
When you open pano2VR you see a welcome screen, select Getting started to see the list of videos.
Look under Tour Building.

Hopki

I think it would be a very welcome addition to have RH mouse contextual commands. I have built many tours with P2vr and if a few months pass, I forget how to do loads of things... and there are hundreds of videos, some very long, some can turn out to not be helpful at all if you are looking for an answer to something specific... for example, the street view video does not show how to make a tour if you do not have gps... which is 100% of the time for me.

Maybe the youtube videos could have a long, detailed contents / timecode in the description of each so you could see if there is something useful for you there without having to watch a 20 min video for nothing.

Nope, not yet. Needing it right now. I have been deleting the pano from the project, then adding it again just to remove the unwanted link between panos!

Hi Mark, if you click on the link which then turns red, then just press the delete key on your keyboard. Depending if it’s a link both ways it will either remove it or change to a lighter blue. This indicates a one way link so you need to select that line and click delete again.
So a darker blue line is a link both ways, a lighter Blue line is a link in one direction.

The other way, when you hover over a selected pin you see the link icon. Clicking it turns on link mode, so clicking another pin creates a link. However Alt or Option on the Mac + click will remove the link.

At 4:45 in this video is the linking options.

When you search for things on our website you are taken to the search page, note Website is highlighted. You need to select Documentation, so your searching the documents for your key word.

When I did this I entered “Delete a link”.
Then after selecting Documentation the page I needed was the third hit down.

Hopefully this will help find things in the future.

Thanks Hopki, that's very useful info.... not to be found anywhere in the help files.
I did extensive searching today (again) and found nothing searching Tour Map (the panel where this is done!)
Here below are a few of the results I came up with (there were MANY more, as I was also searching "delete connection" "remove connection" etc with the word "link" too.

A glossary of commands would be extremely time saving.

Also with regard to the video link, thanks... but I would not be searching in a "floor plans" video to find this as only one of my 50 or so GSV clients has ever provided me with a floor plan, despite my asking for quote and pre-planning purposes. Also the video does not say how you are deleting the link, and the action seen is too "weird" and quick to learn from when nothing is being said about what key is being pressed etc.

I read these and many more:
Tour Map - nothing (this is the same page you said you'd found which had the information I was looking for... it does not have any useful info to help with this basic question of how to delete a link between pins)
https://ggnome.com/doc/pano2vr/6/panel-tour-map/

Google Street View Basic Workflow - nothing
https://ggnome.com/doc/pano2vr/6/gsv-basic-workflow/
"If you need to remove a connection (while in Link Mode), press the Alt or Option key and click the target pin of a connection in the Tour Map to remove the linking." - does not work.

Setting location - nothing
https://ggnome.com/doc/pano2vr/6/prep-set-location/

Getting Started Setting Location - nothing
https://ggnome.com/doc/pano2vr/6/prep-set-location/

Building Tours Using Custom Map Tiles - nothing
https://ggnome.com/doc/pano2vr/6/maps-custom-tiles/

Map Element - nothing
https://ggnome.com/doc/pano2vr/6/props-map/

Lastly, if you are in "link both ways mode" then surely that should work with the Delete key too? I saw the line turing light blue, but any number of clicking on it again and pressing delete or backspace or alt ctrl shift etc would not make it go away.

Anyhow, now i know, I will add it to a personal help file in case i forget next year and have to harass you again ;)

Thanks for being patient Martin,
Cheers,
Mark.
