Hi,

I while back on the facebook page I posted an issue I was having with levels. It was mentioned that when using levels we need to make sure that the nodes above or below are no more than a few meters away from your current location for it to work correctly. I have a client that has asked me to use levels in the same way we would have used islands in the past. They have other tours already like this, some have 30+ levels, linking to different areas around their buildings. Personally I think this is not very user friendly, the abbreviated room names mean nothing without some sort of reference guide and it looks awful. The client claims to have statistics suggesting it works well for them. I am happy to do it for them, but have said I cannot guarantee it will work.

Do you know if there is any official documentation from Google regarding how levels work? I have searched for this, but haven't found anything. I'm sure Hopki was referring to advice from Google on my Facebook post.

Also, does anyone know if businesses can see any statistics on their tours? I didn't think this was possible for the business to do, with only the publisher of the tour having access to the numbers.

Cheers,

Peter

Hi Peter,
As far as I know, its what was said to us from Google, I have not seen any official documents.
Have you looked on the local guides connect website or asked in the forum?
Here is the link to the website: https://www.localguidesconnect.com
