I tried to search the forum but I must miss the topic...
How to reset the node ID?
I have xy nodes: 1,2,...xy and I removed the 1+n node and now I wish that all nodes are reset to sequence without the node number gap ... because the next previous panorama doesn't work when the gap.

Hi,
You can not, Pano2VR uses this node id internally when creating thumbnails etc.
This said what do you mean
because the next previous panorama doesn't work when the gap.
This should not affect anything.
Can you tell me what the problems is?

I have a museum project where I decided to remove one pano. Its node was 13. So now I have a number gap between node 12 and node 14. I used the button_simplex_next_previous which works only until I come to number 12, then it stops and also all hotspots disappear

Regarding hotspots, I meant that all hotspots which were shown in previous panos disappear. In case I pick the 14th node manually or any other later than it works fine but not when I come to 12th node so all panos from 1-11 and 14-xy works fine, just the node 11 kill the navigation. The only difference was that there the node 13 is missing.
I recreated the issue also with other numbers... when I delete the e.g. 5th pano than it all works from 1-3 and 5-xy.

Hi Bostjan,
Please find attached a 5 node project, the project was copied twice and nodes removed.
The next and prevues buttons still work jumping over any missing nodes as it should.
But yes as expected the hotspots will be removed linking to the removed node.

In the project "4_node" you would need to add a hotspot from node 3 to 5, then from node 5 to 3.
This makes sense if you remove a node that all hotspots that link to it also get removed.

Hopki

But then I add the substitute pano to the same place the next button doesn't work (?) as it is now the last number node.

Hi,
The next and previous buttons use the order of the nodes in the tour browser.
Example, if you have node id 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
Now remove node id 3, then add a new node which will be node id 6.
Now click and drag node id 6 in-between nodes 2 and 4 in the tour browser.
So now its 1, 2, 6, 4 and 5.
This is the order the next and prevues buttons will use.
Cheers,
Hopki

If you just want to change the node but keep the hotspots, select the node in the tour browser.
Then under the properties panel change the input image.
