Hi,
I just setup a very nice and special tour and meet some points:

I use the way to let play an audiofile while node change, thats nice, but how to solve that:
The (first) soundfile should play only on the first x panoramas (from pano1 to 3) seamlessly, and should stop (or should be "replaced") by another sound on entering panorama nr. 4
This second file should then play on - lets say pano 4-7 - and so on...

Additionally I need to start some other sounds while clicking a polygon hotspot, is that possible?

thanks a lot!

Hi,

Is this what you are looking for?

https://s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com ... index.html

Audio 1 plays on nodes 1-3, Audio 2 plays on nodes 4 & 5, Audio 3 plays on node 6. The audio is only paused so when you return to the different nodes it starts playing from where it left off.

Hi Tony,
yes, that is, what I want to to.

Would you give some hints, did yuo use logic block actions and tags?
Is there a "special point" to take care of?

Thanks and best regards from "the opposite" part of the globe ;-)

EDIT:
Just found your tutorial, seems I really miss that since Oktober... shame on me !

Thanks a lot - again!

Hi,

Glad you found the tutorial, however in this case I haven't used a background sound instead I've just dragged sounds to the node that the sound starts on. I'll post the skin but here's an overview of the project.

Tour of 6 nodes
3 mps Audio files; No Woman no Cry, Stayin' Alive, Free Fallin'
Nodes 1-3 have the tag 'nowoman', nodes 4-5 have the tag 'stayinalive' and node 6 has the tag 'freefallin'

Drag sound file No Woman no Cry onto Node 1 in the Viewer window.
Set Properties of the sound to ID: Element01; Mode: Static; Node Change: Keep

Drag sound file Stayin' Alive onto Node 4 in the Viewer window.
Set Properties of the sound to ID: Element02; Mode: Static; Node Change: Keep

Drag sound file Free Fallin onto Node 6 in the Viewer window.
Set Properties of the sound to ID: Element03; Mode: Static; Node Change: Keep

In the skin I have added the Previous/Next node component. Both the Previous and Next buttons have a number of Mouse Click Actions that either Pause or Play on the 3 sound elements. Each Action has an Action Filter that determines when the Action is activated based on the Node the action takes the viewer to.

For example if you are playing the sound on Node 1 the 'keep' option will play it continuously across the nodes. However when the tour reaches Node 4 the Action and Filter pause the first sound Element01 and play the second sound Element02. This is implemented for all sound changes both forward and back.

Wwooww, Tony, that looks perfect - and the best point is: I think I understand it ;-)

Just one small question, before I will test it in my project:
Do you guess - or have you tested already - if that method of play and psue the individual sound elements by action-filters, would also work with the "usual" node-hotspots, or could there rise-up any other "cross-problem" ?

Anyhow, I will test it!

Not to forget: THANKS A LOT !

Hi,

Here's another sample file I made in response to a post on Facebook by a Panotour user.

https://s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com ... index.html
I want to have more controls, like leaving a music in the background and when you open a photo 360 must begin the description of what you see and you must feel the background that continues, this is not possible because what Panotour is this: when you go on the panorama with the comments, the background stops, when you exit the panorama with the description resumes the background m asempre from the beginning, that's why I want a plugin
Here is my response to the request:

This tour has 3 panoramas, shot around Komodo Island, and the first tour has a 'Click' button to start the audio background playing (gets around audio autoplay issues) The background loops continuously through the 3 panoramas without stopping or going back to the start.

Both panoramas 1 & 3 don't have any additional audio attached to them, however the second panorama contains two additional sounds, the growling of the dragon, on a loop and directional, and the voice over, single play and static.

The previous and next buttons simply open whatever is next in the list of nodes, however they also contain a command to play audio if the next panorama is the second in the list. These actions can accommodate as many panoramas as you want in a tour.

So similar to the previous sample but this time it activates additional sounds.

cheers,

Tony

Just a short reply:
I solved my needs with a modified tour hotspot template (ht_node), that includes the button-image 4 times, instead of just one.

With a placeholder in the hotspot-description I defined the visibility, so the image Nr. x is shown only if the defined number is written in the hs description: $(hd)

In the actions of those buttons I set the play/pause/stop media with the different targets for my 2 songs plus video elements.
Relatively simple concept and for the moment it works fine.

The project will need some more weeks, but be shure that a great tour will be shown!
(I worked many many hours now - and some more many hours the next weeks...)
I guess it will be one of those prestige projects at the end, with an hourly rate of 5.- Euro - but anyhow, it is a damned nice tour with some very special extras...
