Hi,

Is there any way to set up a Fly In transition for just one node? I want all but one transition to be a cross dissolve and don't see how to manually trigger a fly in transition for the exception. Thanks!

Hi,
You can use a node marker, when it's active to change transition, when deactivated pit it back the way it was.
Please see the attached project.
What to expect and how does it work.
The project has the default transition of Cross Dissolve.
When you enter Node Two the transition changes to Iris Round from Click Position and effects zoom in.
So when you click the hotspot to node three thats what will happen.
When you leave node two the transition changes back to Cross Dissolve.
So click from node three to node two and thats the transition you will see.

How this works, in the skin there is a Node Marker with the Tour Node set to node two.
It also has the two actions:

Source: Activate
Action: Player Settings
Type: Change Transition
Transition Type: Iris Round from Click Position
Effect Before: Zoom In
Effect After: Zoom In

Then,

Source: Deactivate
Action: Player Settings
Type: Change Transition
Transition Type: Cross Dissolve
Effect Before: None
Effect After: None

To get the Fly In change the Activate action to:

Source: Activate
Action: Player Settings
Type: Change Transition
Transition Type: Cross Dissolve
Effect Before: None
Effect After: Fly In

Hopki

This is just what I needed, thanks!

One quick follow-up: is there any way to control how quickly this one fly-in effect occurs, like how you can when it's set for every node?
