Hi I have been using P2VR to download tours from my google streetview account but I am unable to get my tours anymore. I get the error below. I set up my maps api account and placed the api key in settings.

Is the quota that is exceeded here from my account or from P2VR? I have obtained an api key but I get the resources exhausted every time.

Hi Leon,
Please wait for a few hours and try again, we have seen this with a couple of accounts now, but after say 24 hours it resets and your good to go.
Please let us know if it does start to work.

Hopki

Hi Hopki
I have tried that a number of times over a period of days spread out in time, but it has not worked. I have 34.5 K photographs on my streetview account is that the problem? I have had it work in the past with a similar number of photographs.

Thanks,
Leon

Hi Leon,
HTTP Status 429 means you're requesting too much too quickly.
The way it works is how many requests and time in-between each request.
If your downloading lots of panoramas and you have a very fast internet connection then this may trigger the 429 status code.

Firstly give Google time to clear the error, say 24 hours.
Then try opening your street view browser and select 10 panoramas and download.
That should work.

Then try selecting 100 panoramas and download, does it still work?
Try again but increase how many you are downloading in one go, say adding a 100 panoramas each time you try.
I would imagine at some point you will get the 429 code, it will be interesting to know how many panos you have selected to download.

Out of interest how many panoramas are you trying to download?

Hopki
